A new study claimed that the corona virus can enter people’s noses from their brains. With the help of the study’s findings it will now be possible to find out why patients’ neurological symptoms are emerging and how to treat them during Kovid-19 disease.

According to the study published in the journal Nature Neuroscience, SARS-COV-2 affects not only the respiratory system but also the central nervous system causing different ‘neurological symptoms such as snoring, loss of taste recognition, Headaches, fatigue and dizziness etc. start appearing.

Although the latest study talks about the presence of viral ‘RNA’ and ‘cerebrospinal fluid’ in the brain, it is unclear where the virus enters and how it spreads.
Researchers at the University of Charité, Germany, tested the respiratory tract (from the upper part of the throat to the nose).

The study included 33 patients who died of Kovid-19. 11 of them were female and 22 were male. He said that the average age of those who died was 71.6 years. On the other hand, the average time from symptoms of Kovid-19 to his death has been 31 days. Researchers say they have found SARS-COV-2 RNA (the genetic material of the virus) and proteins in the brain and respiratory tract.
