Ericsson has released its latest Ericsson Mobility report. This report states that by the year 2026, 4 out of 10 smartphones will have 5G connectivity. Apart from this, the report also states that by the end of this year i.e. 2020, more than 1 billion people will have access to 5G coverage.

According to the 5G report, 15 per cent of the world’s population will have access to 5G coverage, according to the report of 100 crore, 15 per cent of the world’s total population. This does not mean that 100 crore people will be using 5G connectivity but it means that 15 percent of the world’s population will be living in an area with 5G connectivity.
