Dr Hany Elmadbouh specialises in musculoskeletal radiology and offers a comprehensive musculo-skeletal diagnostic and intervention service. He has a special interest in spine imaging and intervention.

Hany has extensive experience as a consultant radiologist and became a full-time private radiologist in 2013.

He is founder and lead consultant of Avicenna Clinic.

Mr Trivedi has a busy clinical practice in general neurosurgery, undertaking between 300-400 cases per year.

He has specialist interests in spinal, cerebrovascular and skull base surgery having received specialist training in these areas in the USA. Whilst on fellowship, he gained proficiency in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery techniques and performed the first keyhole lumbar discectomy in the region, shortly after his return. Mr Trivedi’s spinal practice includes treatment of spinal trauma, infection and tumours, and all aspects of degenerative spinal disease including disc prolapse and spinal stenosis. 80% of his spinal practice is now performed using minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques including day case lumbar discectomy and decompressions.

Mr Trivedi’s research interests to date have been in developing novel imaging techniques for assessment of vascular disease and have evolved to evaluate novel strategies in the treatment of spinal disorders. He has supervised numerous research student projects and has trained fellows in both cerebrovascular and spine surgery.

I am an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon specialising in hand, wrist and upper limb peripheral nerve surgery.

I studied medicine at the University of Dundee, graduating in 2004. I completed my higher Trauma and Orthopaedic training in the West Midlands, and in addition to my surgical training I attained a Master’s degree in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.

I completed the prestigious Advanced Training Post fellowship in hand surgery at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham, and in 2018 I passed the British Hand Surgery Diploma, winning the ‘Vivien Lees’ Gold Medal for the highest score in this competitive 3 day examination.

Mr Edwards qualified in 1983 and undertook his orthopaedic training in Sheffield and in Cambridge. He undertook a sports surgery Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia prior to taking up my Consultant post at Addenbrooke’s University Teaching Hospital in 1994. His Fellowship focused on knee surgery and reconstruction in the professional athlete.

Mr Edwards’ specialities are knee and sports surgery in particular but he sees and manages a wide range of adult and paediatric lower limb conditions. He has developed a specialised practice in Cambridge dealing with soft tiss
ue injuries and degenerative conditions of the knee, as well as hip and ankle joints.

He has a particular interest in arthroscopic surgery and this includes meniscal injuries, chondral defects and ligamentous reconstructions in addition to meniscal repair, regeneration and transplantation.

Is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in Shoulder and Elbow surgery. He has been in practice for over 15 years at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Independent Sector and holds the post of Honorary Clinical Fellow of Cambridge University.

He has a particular interest in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and through his work, and having pioneered a number of new techniques, his expertise is recognised nationally and internationally.
